We are a group of massage professionals dedicated to bringing aloha and competent massage care into our clients’ homes, condos, suites, and vacation rentals on the beautiful island of Maui.
Sam (Owner and Lead Therapist)
I created Maui’s Best Massage with two kinds of people in mind: visitors to Maui who want a massage, but aren’t exactly sure who to trust or turn to, and professional massage therapists who are passionate about their craft and wish to be of service. Thus, this company serves as a bridge between the two.
I have been a massage therapist for 6 years and received my initial massage training in Chicago, Illinois. I went on to further my training at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California, and learned Lomi Lomi on the Big Island of Hawaii.
In addition to this business, I also see private clients (www.kamabodywork.com), and am honored to work as a licensed massage therapist at The Fairmont Kea Lani and the Four Seasons Resort Maui, both in Wailea.
I feel fortunate and blessed to live on Maui and believe that massage and bodywork is something I will do for the rest of my life.
On my days off I like to soak up to the sun, play in the ocean (snorkeling & SUP), Crossfit, hike, meditate, dine out, and explore places I haven’t explored before!

In my massage, I focus on well-being and relaxation through the use of deep nurturing contact, presence and flowing movement. I combine gentle stretches with long integrative strokes, elements of Esalen, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, energy work, and Thai Massage to assist my client in creating space for the release of tensions, increasing body awareness and letting go of holding patterns.
Lindsay
I have been a massage therapist for 6 years and received my initial training at the Green Mountain Institute in Praia da Luz, Portugal. After having a private practice in Vermont for 4 years I continued my training here on Maui at the Maui School for Therapeutic Massage. Post graduate studies were continued with Lynn Wind from the Big Island on medical massage and myofascial release technique.
My massage is an integrated technique of styles with a focus on nurturing touch and flowing, connecting strokes. My specialty and passion is deep tissue with applied neuromuscular therapy. Along with this I actively engage the client in resisted stretching.

I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since March of 2007 and received my education on Maui primarily at the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage. In 2008, I traveled to Thailand to become certified in Thai massage, which emphasizes thumb pressure and passive stretching. Other modalities I enjoy doing are Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Swedish, Aromatherapy, and Reflexology. I love working on pregnant women and mothers with small children, and as a mother of a small child myself, I know exactly how and where to provide relief to all their new sore areas! I consider myself to be very intuitive to each individual and listen closely to my clients’ needs. I am especially known for my therapeutic Deep Tissue work which keeps my clients coming back for more.
